Ruairi O’Connor, hailing from County Dublin, was formerly known for his small screen work, with a recurring role in TV series The Spanish Princess, however, he’s now gaining a name as a promising Hollywood star.

Fresh from his breakout role in the recent box office hit The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, O’Connor has been cast to play the lead in the upcoming Buddy Holly biopic, Clear Lake, appearing alongside Colin Hanks, playing Holly’s manager Norman Petty, and R&B singer-turned-actor Nelly, who’ll play Chuck Berry.
